One Second Heaven

One day, my best friend, Susan, asked me to help her in writing down questions for tuition as her sir had asked her to read a chapter in Chemistry and write down four questions about it. She had forgotten to do that and so, she brought her notebook to school. She also had to do some Mathematics homework. So, she asked me to do her Chemistry homework. I opened my Science text book, read the chapter and wrote some relatively hard questions. After I wrote it, I told her that she had to give a chocolate the next day. She promised to bring a Ferrero Rocher.

The next day, the first thing I asked her was ‘Where is my Ferrero Rocher?’

She just blinked and said that she had forgotten about it. I was so frustrated and irritated. I went with an angry face to my seat and sat down. Susan asked me to open her bag to take a French dictionary. I opened a small compartment of the bag where she kept the dictionary and the first thing I found was a Ferrero Rocher. I instantly smiled and told her that I take back all the things I told her. I took the chocolate bonbon and kept it in my pocket for eating it during recess.

When the bell rang after the second period, the first thing I told was that both of us would share the chocolate. But she denied the idea and told me that I could have all for myself. I was secretly very happy. I took out the wrapping. Just then, a girl named Gwen came and saw that I had a Ferrero Rocher in my hand. So, before she could grab it, I quickly popped it into my mouth. At that exact moment, I was in heaven. It was so yummy but it only lasted for a second!
